Peter Lewis is a recent franchisee with First Vehicle Finance attending the training course in the autumn of 2019.  Peter came from a finance background having worked with Lloyds bank but not in the asset finance team.  However, his contacts and work in building business relationships stood him in good stead.

His first quotation request was on a Skoda Karoq SUV 1.5 TSi Sport Line 5dr DSG and having worked through the First Vehicle Finance process he came in with a competitive quote, but to match the deal he had to decrease his own income (sales commission) within the deal.  So before sending to the prospect he asked First Vehicle Finance, founder Richard Mayle if he could help in any way to review the quotation.

Richard was able to go back to the funders, get them to review the finance and give the customer a great rate and also ensure that Peter on his first deal also earnt some sales commission.  A win all round and on this first deal which should be the first of many for Peter highlights the benefit of being part of a franchise network and working with an experience company with contacts and suppliers in the sector.
